Wow, I haven't seen that many movies all year! Well, I do see shows much more often though.
What is silver tongued? I didn't know they had horoscopes on here, and apparently now I won't be checking mine very often...
your horoscope wasn't too bad...
I get to hang out at the movies infrequently - but I'm taking advantage of the dad home alone rule and cramming in as many as I can...
(As I write this, my #$@^$#% cat is perched on my chest) apologies in advance for any typos!
Awww, how cute! Just dad and cat! I'm allergic to cats, so I guess I can't come visit you.
Liotte - I am the last person in the world who thought I'd ever love a cat... we always had dogs... but my cat (Mushu) is the most dog-like cat that ever lived... he's the best...
That said, I'll de-cat the house so you can come visit!
Gay Days has worn me out. I is now midnight and the Lesbians are partying by the pool. I am sorry...I don't mean to offend anyone... but it isn't pretty.
LOL - that's the funniest thing I've heard all day...
Did you have fun at Typhoon Lagoon? Did the weather cooperate today?
I loved Typhoon Lagoon. I left when the circuit boys took over. I have been there and done that and want no part of it anymore.
I'm gonna pretend I know what a circuit boy is...
Is this the end of Gay Days, or do you have another day/night of frivolity ahead?
It ends tomorrow night at a place called Parliament house. Jennifer Holiday is performing.
DAME, sounds like a fun trip!
OTA- Thanks for de-cating the house for me! It's definitely appreciated! And by the way- Mushu as in the dragon from Mulan??
L - absolutely... (although friends of ours thought it was Mushu as in chinese food - we thought that was just disgusting!)
D - did you have fun (Lesbian partying not-withstanding?)
Yay, I love Mulan! It's my second favorite disney movie of all time!
We actually had two cats - Mushu was first, then we got Mulan... but she left us when we moved from Florida back up to NJ... it was like Sophie's choice... but we couldn't get rid of Mr. M... he likes to hang out outside, and people in our neighborhood actually stop us to tell us how much they love our cat!
That's awesome! I wish I could have a pet (well, dog), but I'm not home enough to take care of it. Plus I'm not a fan of picking up after a dog on the NYC sidewalks.
yeah - that's the problem with dogs... my kids want a dog, and we're on the fence about the whole thing - it's a heckuva lot more work with a dog...
Aha, but you have kids! So you can agree to get a dog as long as they take responsibility and help care for it. I know it never works out like that and parents end up with all the work, but you can try!
"Aha, but you have kids! So you can agree to get a dog as long as they take responsibility and help care for it."
LOL, Liotte, that is BEYOND wishful thinking.
But it did make me smile.
lol - I'm resigned to the fact that I will be the caregiver for whatever dog we eventually get... my one daughter is very much into animals, so there's hope there (but not much!)
That's very good of you though!
See, more reasons for me a)not to have pets b)not to have kids
I'm heading to bed, goodnight!
Night, Liotte - sleep well!!!!
No call back...
Goodmorning Hussys.
One more day to this trip... but I am ready to go home. Oh well. Tonight we are off to see Jennifer Holiday. I have learned one thing from this trip....I prefer my vacations to be personal and not based on thses big events. I had fun.. but this is not for me. Enjoy the Tonys everyone.. I am tivo-ing them and will watch them this week.
Morning everyone!
DD- Are you sure they may not just be waiting to call back on Monday??
DAME- Glad you had a good time on your trip, still envious that you have been in FL on vacation!!!
L - Yeah, I'm sure. The call-backs are today.
DAME - I've never enjoyed the 'big' events like that. It just gets too crazy. I rather go on vacation with a loved one or family or a small group of friends.

DD - sorry about that. The business sucks. I hope you do not crash like my wife does. One last part and she is quitting for good. She has an audition for people she knows well in a few weeks.
No schedule day here which is awesome. I took C9 to the grocery store for her post tonsilectomy items. She is quite scared. The surgery is not until 5:00 p.m. tomorrow which seems ridiculous to me.
Our friend the director is coming to watch the Tony Awards tonight. We watched together last year. We have a few things in common - gin and a love of Broadway.
Happy Hot and Sunny Sunday.
