It's beautiful in NYC! Just took my daily lunch break to Jamba Juice, will go on the roof for a little while to get some sun. Supposed to be nice this week, maybe rain but hopefully not, as I want to get some pool time in this weekend!
brdlwyr- glad C9 is doing well!!

btw, OTA... it's about a 4 hour non-stop flight from Dulles and 5 hour non-stop from NYC to Costa Rica. I don't think there are non-stop flights from Philly.

I also had a nice lunch outside. It is hot, but less warm near the lake, so a little nicer in the loop. T-ball practice at 5:00 should be a scorcher.

Lake Michigan is nice during the summertime, there is always a cool breeze which is quite enjoyable. I usually stay around Irving Park area, but will ride my bike down to Addison, Belmont, Fullerton, North Beach Area, etc.

DD - of course there are no non-stops from Philly... we are a substandard city, hence our massive inferiority complex (you try being stuck between NYC and DC and see what happens!) Gotta look into the CR thing, though - it's bee-ay-yoo-tee-ful!

BL - forgive me if the phrase "No More T-Ball" keeps playing in my head...

L - can you hold off on rain in NYC this weekend - or at least on Sat? I don't want to get drenched! TYVM

Iced Tea, anyone?

Millenium Park is just north of the Art instute and East of Michigan. The Taste is June 24 - July 4. I have not been in years. Too crowded for little ole me.

I avoid the Taste here in Seattle too. WAY too crowded in the Seattle Center grounds...

Everyone else stands there forever gawking, you wouldn't be the only one!
I don't know what kind of tastes person you are- if you like sweet, citrus, something with frozen yogurt or sorbert or just ice, etc.
I like the Strawberries Wild but with peaches instead of bananas. I also like the Kiwi Berry Burner, which is kiwi juice, strawberries, peaches, yogurt, ice, and has a fat burner boost in it.

L - I guess I'll gawk (this is why I don't do Starbucks - isn't that pathetic)... I'll take anything with Pineapple or Strawberries...

BL - Yes, sir - right across from City Hall... I take the train across the river every day...

I thought so, how long does the train take to Manhattan from where you live?

L - it's 20 mins from the house to work - it's an excellent train system - hardly ever breaks down, $5.00 round trip and parking is free...

BL - it's about 65 mins to Penn Station, if I drive a little... if I take the train out of Philly, it's closer to an hour and a half... if it wasn't for the #$$%^@# Lincoln tunnel, I'd drive every time...
