Just got home from our final volleyball game of regular season. Our team remains in 1st place, we get a bye on Monday and have our first playoff game on Tuesday (which I can't go to, I'll be at the Yankees game). But wish my team luck!

My life is good for now with volleyball- but my boss doesn't want me to play in the fall because once every other month, I have to leave work early for a 6:30 game. (our kids leave at 6:15, so I leave with them instead of staying til 7). So I'll enjoy it for the summer season!

I had been asked the day before this trip to cancel my trip to Orlando because of another employees commitment for the same days. This trip was planned one year ago. I refused to cancel it and they were silently pissed over it. And then when I got stuck in Orlando over night it really gave them a window to vent.

Lots of fun stuff planned for this weekend... Kid movies tomorrow night - we're dividing between Madagascar and Travelling Pants, and Saturday I'm venturing into the big city all by myself to see Q... should be a lot of fun

I guess I do get to see the Cubs/Red Sox on Saturday.

We have yet more visitors, my most boring sister and her daughter. It is just not the right time with C9 still recovering and just having my mother in law. We have two parties on Saturday and my sister is watching the kids.

OTA- I want to see Madagascar and Traveling Pants- I'll take your kids to the movies while you are at Avenue Q! The closest Jamba Juice to the theater is on Broadway and 47/48th. What show are you seeing? (as in, saturday matinee?)

brdlwyr- have a great time at the game! I'll be rooting for the cubbies all the way!!

I'm gonna spend Saturday at the theater helping build the set for Sunday's all-day tech. At least it's outdoors... however, it's supposed to rain. Should be loads of fun.

L - it's the matinee... I'm trying to figure out how to justify staying for an evening show as well (it borders on the greedy!)
