That is one hot avatar, Dame!
The really awful part about our high school Sadie Hawkins dances was that we had to go in costume... One year I went with my date as Raggedy Anne and Andy. One year we were Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. My senior year I went as Sally Bowles and he went as the Emcee from Cabaret. We got in trouble for that one...we showed too much skin!

Posted: 6/14/05 at 12:52pmWe never had those kinds of dances back home... we didn't have to have dates to go to a dance. Thank God!

I liked the 'group' date events best.
When you didn't have to worry about being asked...you just went with your friends.

'xactly!
We always had the best times... and we danced with whoever; except the people who were already 'couples'. So us 'gay' boys could go to the dance and have fun and not worry about the date thing.

I was a 'couple' for part of high school, but I still liked the group thing best... I liked going with my best friends! And the girls were quite good at the group dance thing...we were frequently in the center of the circle. My boyfriend was usually right there with us, though. He was quite a catch. (And he is now happily married to Fred in Massachusetts!

L - I am in Jamba withdrawal... it was yummy!!! Now I know what I have to do every time I come to Gotham City...
Went out at lunch and decided it was too hot to eat, so I came back for a soda... what exactly is the difference between Diet Coke and Coke Zero? Is this a clever marketing ploy to attract the gullible (King Gullible here)...?

no - it's dark like Diet Coke... it was warm, so I put it in the freezer and I haven't been back to check on it. I am Madison Ave's best friend - just slap the word "New" on anything and I'll buy it.
