Dame, yes I did use your recipe. I did not have a juicer, so squeezing 7 lemons was tiresome, but worth it.

I was gonna stay at the apartment where I'm catsitting until the fireworks, because I could see them from here, but then I got a call to do extra work tomorrow and my call is at 6:30, so it seems I'll have to go home much earlier than expected.

Back from the parade the kids and dog had fun. My wife and I had a 45 minute "date" of driving around the area and picking up champagne. We found Charles de Fere which is relatively inexpensive, but we served it at our wedding. Ah memories.
BBQ shortly with family guests and fireworks in the cul de sac.
Be safe and do not blow your hands off. (We had a "leg off" fireworks accident case in our office years ago. Not pleasant.)

Hi all! Absolutely perfect weather here in New Jersey... still debating whether we're going to brave the traffic and go see Sir Elton and the Fireworks in Philadelphia tonight - more classic Americana today - parade, town fair, hanging by the pool (with a short break to do water cleanup from the bathroom downstairs, which unexpectedly sprung a leak in the middle of the festivities)...
