Well kids, I'm off to see Camelsnot again tonight. And camping at the park if the weather holds. Walter Bondi is hoping Robert (Arthur) is out so he can play the part he was born to play.
Chat at you all tomorrow. Don't have too much fun while I'm gone, don't wanna spend hours reading pages.
Get rest Dame.
Quick check in from the hamptons! Kids are great, house is amazing, so far things are going well, so after the kids go to bed tonight, I'll sit down with the parents to discuss future proceedings. For now, we are getting ready to go to dinner at a Mr. R. Gere's house...

Richard gere?
Oh my, I remember those days - working for celebs, everyone around them was a celeb...a different world - enjoy it, Liotte!
Wow, dinner was so awesome, I'll give more details from home tomorrow but richard was such a cool person, we chatted for awhile and since I was with the kids most of the night at their place, I watched his 5 year old son too. And he was like, Wow, you're good. I'm sending my kid to your place this summer.
And all went well with the kids, the 2 older kids said i was the coolest one they've seen (a few others have come to try for the job but didn't work out for lots of reasons) and they both told their mom that they really liked me and to hire me. I'm going back to the city in the morning, and then will fly back out to the hamptons on Tuesday night and be out here for the summer. Hooray!
Hope everyone had a good day!

Now the only thing I have to learn is how to get by with only a few hours sleep every night, since I'm used to getting around 10 and all I've gotten the past couple nights is 4. It's hard running around with 4 kids all day!!!

L - how are you going to get your Broadway fix??????
Broadway Legend Joined: 12/28/04
Liotte - what a great experience! Hope they don't wear you out. What kind of free time do you get?
Congratulation - they are VERY lucky! Not to be selfish (but to be totally selfish) I hope their gain is not our loss.
Wow, so many questions!!
I'll just be out in the hamptons through the end of august or beginning of Sept, and plan on coming to the city at least the last weekend in july and last weekend in august. So I'll get my broadway fix then. During the year, the kids will just come with me to all the shows :)
In regards to free time- We have to see how the schedule and timing works out, but they are very flexible and I can get time off when I need. And I will only be working 5 days a week unless we hop on a plane somewhere, but then I get more time off later.
It's a very sweet gig, the kids are definitely hard work, but it's fun and I'm looking forward to it!
Thanks for all your support everyone! I'll still be on BWW throughout the summer, just not as much. And then in Sept when I am back home again, I'll be back to normal (in regards to posting, anyway!)
I'm off to the Yankees game, have a good day!

I was probably making house calls when you were sick. I shall attend to you next time I swear on my hypocratic oath
Yay Liotte!! Summer in the Hamptons! woohoo!!
Congratulations. I don't think anyone here is the least bit surprised that this worked out for you.
I missed something. How did you meet Richard gere and how did this job happen?
