There is nothing on TV -- but I need to go return DVDs tonight anyhow to Hollywood Video. What should I rent?

Murder by Death?
I absolutely LOVE that film.
"...she was my...poodle"
And Nancy Walker as the deaf mute cook.
And all the twists and turns. I adore Maggie Smith and David Niven...and Eileen Brennan and Peter Falk...Peter Sellers...James Coco...Estelle Winwood...Alec Guinness...Elsa Lanchester...Truman Capote...what a blockbuster group of star power.
Thanks for reminding me about it!

I've heard rumors on and off about a remake...
I think that would be terrible. The original is a classic.

"Red Eye"--I saw a preview for that. Looks creepy (and I can't wait to see it.)
I've not heard much about The Corpse Bride but I generally do like Tim Burton's work.

Red Eye looks VERY creepy -- but Rachel McAdams is awesome.

Wasn't she the female lead in "Constantine" with Keanu Reeves?

Oh no, just a standard tween vs. parents battle. She is an outstanding student and a great kid, but sometimes in private at home WOW.
Things are calm now. My wife watched the Bridget Jones II - what did you watch??

I'm sitting here watching Family Guy and I'm not sure if it's a rerun or not, but Brian gets on camera and he's drinking a mojito. I laughed out loud and thought of this thread.
Then he says something about it not being a gay drink... Followed by "mo-jit-o".
Then he slurps it. Great stuff. This kinda humor is only on FAMILY GUY.
yes i love family guy i cnat wait for the movie in sept

I have not seen this show - what network and when. I am a family guy!
So - did everyone end up having a satisfying weekend?
Sounds acceptable, to say the least, Pinguin. I hope you get to see Ann E. soon.
What about YOU missy? :0)
I had the best Mojito tonight at dinner.
Loverly evening. It's been a strange day. Lots of transitions seem to be happening. Can't believe it's almost 1 am and I'm still up.
Good Morning, World! It is gray and surprisingly cool in Philadelphia this morning, though we're getting BL's oppressive heat and humidity later this afternoon... we had a gorgeous day on the beach Saturday, and took the kids to the Boardwalk for rides and ice cream, and then yesterday was more visiting with some folks in PA - I now need a weekend for my weekend! Hope you all had a great couple of days!
Breakfast is served...
(helps if you actually post the breakfast picture!)
OTA, noticed Lucy on the Chuckle thread, but wasn't sure if you'd go back into that one. Love her. Have you ever taken the little tour?

bdwaygirl - Cool, you know Lucy? We toured Lucy over the weekend - first time I've ever been up in the old girl... and I've lived here all my life! It's a pretty fascinating thing - she turned 124 last Wednesday!
