I gained 5 pounds in last night's dinner. Went to a friend's place for dinner, delicious home-made italian sauce and meatballs. We ate SO much.

Omigosh...what is WITH my horoscopes lately. Apparently the world is my oyster...I just haven't gotten to the seafood course yet:

One of my classmates on Saturday said that he and his wife "retired" a few years ago and he said that it was easy to do nothing all day. Now, he is divorced and working at a pool and spa store. So much for "retirement?"

Same here DD!!!!!

It is hot here. My wife is going to Ravinia with the ladies tonight. I was gone all weekend and was so tired and crabby last night that I do need some quality time with the kids. They received their class assignments so there will be lots of phone activity and instant messaging, etc to their friends.

We're actually overcast and chilly today in the great Pacific Northwest... ok, 75, but still, it was warm all weekend, and we wake up to clouds and wind. Nice change.

I also got my new computer at work... yay!

Hey all - BL, I'm glad you had a good reunion!

What's with all the retirement talk?

I went to the Bowl last night, which was simply fantastic. They played parts of the original "Light In the Piazza" before it was made into a full score and musical. Barbara Cook sang after that - I kind of wanted her to come back another night so I could listen to Piazza again. And again. Barbara was fantastic though! Everyone was, and a good time was had by all. Pics'll be up soon.

So yeah -- today is do nothing day, I guess. I have to watch a DVD on my new car insurance for some reason. See y'all later!

My daughter's class - C11 - are a bunch of smarty pants. Their test scores are about 10% higher than the other tested classes.

Their mother is very smart and intelligent but was not a test taker certainly not a great student. We actaully took a few classes together - Earth Science - it was very difficult for here and a piece of cake for me. We are lucky that our relationship survived "half life." She could not understand it and I could not understand how she did not get it!
