Well, even though it sounds wrong... for one, isn't she too young for the part?... I also remember everyone who though Harvey would be a bad choice for Tevye.

She's not too young. Golde would probably be early-mid 40's tops.

And I was all for Harvey from the moment it was announced. He is right for Tevye - he has the heart for him.

That makes sense. Maybe it's just because when I've seen the show it's always been played by older women. (or women who appear older to me)

Hey guys!

Got up early, and am on way to airport - Delta cancelled our flights (BOOO!), so my dad is on the phone getting us new flights. Otherwise, I wouldn't get home 'til tomorrow. And I need to get home!

While we were here, my Dad and I took a walk to the outlet mall and he bought me some presents - that's very exciting for me. I found a hat I liked, and I was going to buy it myself (it was 80% off!), and he was decided to buy it for me, which was really nice. He said he's in a "rich mood" cause his stocks went up -- good for me! He also bought my Mom a bag - I picked it out. I called her to ask her what she wanted and she told me "I don't want anything. But find something you like and tell him it's for me." Ah, mothers are interesting creatures. I DO hope I don't sound like a spolied brat right now.

Anyhow -- I'll be off to the airport soon. Hope everyone stays well!

Tomorrow is the Hollywood Bowl with Barbara Cook - I'm very excited, also because my friend is a dresser and told me to "get my ass back there", and confirmed that Barbara Cook is a the sweetest woman ever. I love hearing good things about people.

I'm waiting for my friend to finish brunch, then we are going kayaking!
I don't know if I'll be in town on August 28th, I think I'll be in Chicago for the football game....
Speaking of which, anyone want to buy 2 yankees tickets for August 28th????

Ooh, I went kayaking last month in the marina of Los Angeles -- dirty water, but kayaking is fun anyway.

You can help on the 29th? I may need you to help move boxes from my bros apartment to my dorm.

Likelihood though is that I'll make my brother do all the work - that;s what he's there for.

TODAY, however, I'm going to play kick-ball. There's this whole kick-ball thing going around. Who knew? Apparently it's quite popular.
