Shira - From what I've heard, you've had too many mojitos tonight. NO MORE!
I had ONE. ONE, I tell you...who's been spreading rumors?

Back home. What a wonderful weekend.
Shira... the hostess with the mostest. And saviour of the weekend! Can't wait to see the pix. Ate all my cookies before I boarded the plane... DG, you have no idea what you missed.
DG... did you like my little diddy a couple of pages back? So sad I didn't get to see you again. Thank you very much for the lovely lunch on Saturday, and the tour of the great neighborhoods near Pasadena. And give Robert a big hug for me as well.
DAME... what can I say... thank you. Those mojitos (note the plural) today inspired me to walk into a store in WeHo and spend too much money on a couple of shirts. Of course Shira was trying very hard to persuade me not to - NOT! But they are fab shirts no one else in Seattle will have.
I'm already looking forward to my next trip...
And Beav, details about your visit! It would be great if we could at least have a drink.
So I'm a BIT of a bad influence...encouraging frivolity and such.
Thats because you are a HUSSY!
Good morning mojitians... it seems the weather gods are with me. Apparently all weekend it's be HOT in Seattle, while LA was nice. Yet today we're only expecting a high of 75.
Gonna go out and enjoy my last day of vacation.
DD,
Weren't those Mojitos strong yesterday? I got to my office closed the door and put my head down. I felt like such a wimp. AND YO HAD MORE THAN ONE.

There were so strong you had to post it twice!
SO strong. I was quite tipsy. I was txting my friends silly things. And no kidding... I bought some shirts I would have never bought had I not been "under the influence". But they're fun shirts, and I think I looked good in them. And it's OH SO FUN to be out shopping and tipsy knowing most of the rest of the world was working.
We took a look at The Abbey. Wow! Huge! And cool! Next time I'm in LA I'm so going there.
My favorite section is the back right bar. I sit in a chair and a receiving line begins. I hold court. I mingle with the little people and spread my hussyness.
LOL
I can see that... vividly.

Good afternoon. Busy weekend in LA for all.
Nicer weather here - less humidity.
Amen to the less humidity!
Slightly drizzling in NYC, cloudy and much cooler. Thank goodness!!
Busy weekend, slow day today. This is the way to do it... a day off after a vacation. Time to unwind... do laundry...
I totally missed the hot weather both in LA and Seattle. Apparently the weekend was scorching here, but now we're back to high's in the 70's-low 80's, and lows in the 50's. My type of weather.
Sounds like the whole country is cooling down for a few days.
So DD, what does Seattle hold for you this week now that you are back from vacation?
OH... going to see "Los Lonely Boys" tomorrow evening at South Lake Union (beautiful outdoor venue in downtown Seattle), a reading for a play I'm directing on Saturday, and playing softball on Sunday. And I'll try to get some biking in there sometime. Other than that I'll be preparing for my stage managing gig that begins in two weeks... I've never done it before (theater... I've sm'd dance) so I've got some researching/studying to do.
And finish "Wicked". The book.
DGrant... btw, Melissa was Mina in Dracula, and is married to Patrick McEnroe.

DD - Sounsd like you've got a pretty hectic, but fun life. I'm envious.
It can get hectic. I like to keep busy with a variety of things. But I also need down time. That's why I needed this vacation.
