stupid skiing...something went wrong with my boot and I broke my leg...And not just a small fracture, but a super fracture that goes from my ankle to halfway up my shin...
I was in hospital in Slovakia (in the same city that George Bush was just in) for 5 days. I can't walk for another month.

oh and I had a major operation where they have put a metal rod in, and it will stay there for one year...
But nothing can bring me down (excuse the pun). I'm as happy as larry!

I'm not looking forward to "The Aviator" tommorow...I may skip that one, but then I won't have seen all the films nominated for Best Picture Oscars. I just don't do well with long movies. If only I could have a Cosmopolitan (or 3) in the theatre. Maybe it's time to get the flask out.

I just watche "The Notebook"...yes it was predictible, yes I was manipulated...but I am sitting here sobbing like a fool....
