It was the dog, not a cat.
It looks cloudy and rainy here too. Ugh.

Posted: 5/11/06 at 10:59amWell, it was his fault, but he can't be blamed for acting like a dog.

Posted: 5/11/06 at 11:47amDame, of course the dog was not punished. He is a rat terrier, it is his job!!!! Here is the bizarre part of the story, I had left the poor little thing on the back porch planning to dispose of it after the kids were asleep. I found him still alive and actually able to crawl on my hand, so I put him back in the cage and this morning he was still alive. Our miracle hamster. I am certain he will die today.

Posted: 5/11/06 at 11:49amI didn't read back on the thread... but wow, that sure it a miracle hamster. You never know, he might just survive.

What I've gathered so far:
Brds dog, on his way to the gym with L, saw a hamster in a cage and decided to have some fun, but the hamster wasn't digging it so it played dead. BrdFamily thought it was dead and almost buried it alive, so the hamster had to quickly 'come back to life' in what is now known as "The Miracle of the BrdHamster."

I will keep you posted.
It is raining here which means no games tonight.
That is good, I must spend some time with C12 on her math. She had two recent bad test grades.

DAME, can you make your Hmmmm a little shorter please???
And now I am at work, so this time doesn't count for me to be at the gym.
Brd, you should just put that hamster out of his misery, if it's going to die today anyway!

Perhaps calling a vet is in order?
If it is about to die, then don't let it suffer.
Back to work for me.
BTW - a bit overcast here in Los Angeles. Hopefully it will clear up by the afternoon.

Posted: 5/11/06 at 12:26pmI'm hoping it clears up here too. Or at least doesnt rain until after the game is over tonight! I have bleacher seats tonight, and do not want to get soaked!
