Brd, when I used to stay at my Aunt and Uncle's house in Chicago, I remember waking to the sight of a squirrel on the bird feeder. Pesky things.

Yep!! I procrastinated because I thought I was going to have to owe, and it turns out I was quite wrong there. Getting a decent refund - should have done it ages ago.

Well.. we always ue a accountant and had it done a few months ago. But I think next year we will do it online. It seems so easy.

I used TurboTax last year, but this year because of my income (or lack of) I was able to file FREE at efile. :)

I tought e file was $29.000? still very cheap compared to the $350.00 the accountant charges.

Because I fell into a certain bracket this year, I was eligible to file there for free. I think it usually is 29.99.

It's so nice to get a refund. I got mine ages ago, but had to pay state taxes. Then I just found out from my mom yesterday that some stock or something was sold for a loss that had my name on it, so I can get that money back too. Woohoo!!

On another note, I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather! (at least those in NYC, don't know how the rest of the country is)

Right now, the weather is perfect. We're all wearing shorts outside and there's a slight breeze. Birds are singing. Sun is shining.

I have to enjoy it now because Washington summers are awful. The humidity is so high we hardly even use the backyard. Thank goodness for central air-conditioning.
