But the fact still remains that I don't think it's appropriate to threadjack unneccesarily when it's not done by the one who created the thread to begin with.

Part of it is anti-V Day. The other part is the fact that I know if I started a well-intentioned thread and then it got threadjacked into sex talk and total randomness (and you know I have nothing against sex talk and randomness), it would bother me, and I think it's part of the reason why so many of the "oldies" feel so alientated on these threads nowadays.
We've got three other threads to natter on. Do we have to resort to threadjacking other people's? (I should stop saying "we" because, well...it's not me.)
Really, guys. You know I luv ya. But it's kind of rude. It's as if you interrupt a conversation that people have been having and start up your own discussion without them.

Fair enough, Mistress. (I do recall a time I asked you about your relations with Mr. Morrison.) I wasn't just referring to this thread, though. We have a habit of threadjacking the hell out of any thread we can. (I've been curbing it for a while.) This was just the time that I figured I might as well voice my concern about it.
