I'm not seeing it. I didn't see episode 1 or 2.

I didn't see any of the Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings or Matrix movies.

When people refer to "the first one", I believe they are speaking of what is now referred to as A NEW HOPE, and which was just called STAR WARS until the whole Episode I and Episode II things.

Not I, unless I have to go with someone else. There's waaay too many other movies and shows to see. George Lucas lost me at Episode I.

I have such little free time.
I will see it on HBO in a year or so.
Right now there is no time for movies.
I still have not seen:
Spamalot, 700 Sundays and Spelling Bee.

Not going to see it...I just never got interested in them...

Same with the Matrix & LOTR trilogies...I know I'm probably in a very small minority...

i remmeber the first new one came out back in the 8th grade... i'm in college now-- and wayyy over it.

broadway86--word is that it is as good as the original trilogy. I think it easily will be as it does cover the story that people were hoping Episode 1 would.

I saw the first one, meaning the 1977 film starring Mark Hammill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher in the movie theatres. I loved that movie. I went to see the other two sequels and out of those two "Empire Srikes Back" is my favorite.

Honestly I lost interest in those films years ago. I have no plans in going to see this third prequel. I didn't see the other two before it.

Just to tempt some of you back to the dark side:

The NEW YORK TIMES says it's as good as THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK--better than A NEW HOPE.

So, if THE PHANTOM MENACE and ATTACK OF THE CLONES is the only reason you are staying away--you should def reconsider. THIS is the film people have been wanting to see.

i'm not. i never really got into the whole star wars thing. i saw half of episode I and thought it was the most boring thing in the world. i couldn't get through the whole thing... i fell asleep. ::hides:: it could be because i'm not a very big science fiction/space adventure fan...
