boy, those commentators wouldn't let up on Paul Hamm's DISASTER of a vault, and continued to talk about how DISAPPOINTED he must feel, and what was going through his mind at any given moment, what was he thinking about, because they knew, they KNEW Paul Hamm didn't have a chance because every other gymnast performing after Paul Hamm's DISASTROUS vault was going to be perfect and Paul Hamm wasn't going to do any better than LAST...

i really REALLY hate the commentators at the Olympics... more than once i've had to tell them to SHUT THE F*** UP!!! they were SOOOO sure Paul Hamm wasn't going to come back AT ALL!!!

My comment last night was that, okay, he had a really bad vault, let's see what he can do... and boyyyYYYYYY DID he!!! what a fantastic finish!!! he deserved that gold medal with those final two events... DESERVED it!!! and i was extremely happy that the Koreans did as well as they did!!!

OK...so I knew Paul Hamm was going to win yesterday afternoon because I get WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too involved emotionally in the Olympics. When Michelle Kwan fell in 2000, I ran out of the room, into my bedroom, slammed the door and wouldn't come out. I'm not good in these situations.

If I hadn't known, I would have suffered complete nervous collapse.
