Why Michelle Obama is so popular

She gets a lot of attention for her style, and so much has been made of her meeting with the Queen, as well as her fashion showdown with Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. However, I think this meeting with British schoolgirls best exemplifies why she is viewed so favorably.

It probably doesn't hurt her at all that 3 of the most recent women in politics were:

Laura Bush- who came off as a stuck-up bitch with that fake smile that she did all the time.

Sarah Palin- who came off as a dumbass puppet-of-a-woman

and Hiliary Clinton.

So Michelle Obama just breathes a breath of fresh air!

I never really had a problem with Laura Bush or Hillary Clinton.

I think they were both fine, but Michelle Obama is just a rock star.

I don't have a problem with Hillary Clinton either...but it seems that everyone else did...or does.

As for Laura Bush, I just don't think she is sincere as she puts out.

Fair enough. I thought she was OK. Far preferable to her husband.

She looks like she has had some work done (and looks perpetually surprised), but I thought she was fine as a first lady.

Anyone see her de-planing this morning in that almost skin tight black dress? I'm jealous - tiny waist, small boobs, excellent arms and a super shapely killer ass. And 45 yrs. old!
