There is a hard rock cafe in Jerusalem, yes? I used to have a shirt from there! Also, Ben and Jerry's in Hebrew - love it!

My brother and Dad are in Israel as we type.

I miss Israel.... swarma, falafel, kosher everywhere, shopping in Jerusalem, asking- Eyfo hasherutim and getting a reply in english, bars in Tel Aviv, mocha coffee, the scenery, Inbal, Shalhevet, Amit, Liron, Saar, Batya, Tali.....

Starbucks? Really? Because I've found that the coffee in Israeli coffee houses is much nicer than that in Starbucks. That's why the chain didn't really succeed there.

I will agree with you on the TV channels; I always find myself watching sumo wrestling and synchronized swimming on Eurosport when I'm there.

You are welcome to come to Australia where we have Target, Starbucks (and MILLIONS of places that serve better coffee), Malls, M&Ms, TV channels, Hard Rock cafes, and construction is soon to begin on a Disney World.

And STILL Americans think kangaroos hop down the main street...

in spain we have lots of american people, theme parks (universal), M&M's, malls, tv channels (fox, tnt, axn...) and even we have broadway musicals (mamma mia, cabaret...)

I must say the one and only reason I miss the US is BROADWAY. (duh!).
