Posted: 3/28/12 at 12:35pmSomebody needs to report this production to Actors Equity. A monitor should have been in place stopping anyone who tried to interfere with the audition process. Strangers can't just run in off the street and pretend that they slept with the director ten years ago.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

What if Cassie had orginally been played by Patti Lupone?
"Music and the Mirror" would have been sung incredibly, but a "Ballet Cassie" might have come out from the wings "to dance Cassie's inner life."
There would have been a cool incest angle with her brother playing Zach.
The confrontation scene between Cassie and Zach would have been like something out of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
The Chorus Line TV commercial would have ended with Patti's famous sneer from the end of the Evita commercial.
