Why don't they ever go to her place?

My upstairs neighbors are having sex. Very loudly. Right above my bedroom. Literally shaking the walls, and I can hear every creak of the bed springs and moans/groans/shouts coming out of their (mainly her) mouths. Why don't they ever go to her place???

I heartily second Smartpenguin's idea. Inviting your own over for a significant amount of noise-making is clearly the way to go. Just be sure you're yelling up.

I like the showtunes idea, unless they subscribe to the Ave Q way of life. "You can be as loud as the hell you want when you're makin love..." Acctually play that really loud and hold your speakers up the the ceiling. It just might embarass them enough to quiet down

In the mornings they have a bruce springsteen thing- they either blast that very loudly, or something totally random- yesterday was Crocodile Rock.
Can't I just call in a noise complaint to the landlord?

I can not believe I am admitting this, but its to help liotte, my husband and I had a very squeaky bedframe. Like you went to sit on it and it would creak and squeak. We hated it but well ya know... So a lady moved in below us and I guess she overheard the bed and she left us a note. She didn't even have the guts to sign her name. It was really funny and well she was rude to everyone around her and just a B*tch to all so we made it a point to be even louder. If you have the guts to talk to them then maybe it will help, being shy about it will get you nothing...well acctually it will probably get you a louder show.

One of my neighbors never leaves his apt except to walk his big ugly dog.

He never leaves his apt and all I hear is constant sex.
It is very annoying.
So one night when I could stand it no more I played on full blast:
"loud as the hell you want"
Right after that he and his three partners shut up.
He is so loud there are times I can't sleep at all.

SUCKS!
I am actually in the process of moving my bedroom to my living room so I don't have to hear him. The other neighbor all I hear is Jazz. Love it.
