Because we all know that Britain was never a society that had a class system, or racism, was never crime-ridden, money driven or led by anyone who didn't have the utmost respectability.

The USA is not now, and never has been, a democracy, kids.

It's a democratically represented, federated republic.

That's why we pledge allegiance to the republic, not the democracy.

Well, true democracy is pretty impossible for any country of a size other than pretty small to practice.
