I'm looking forward to finally seeing the show at Xmas, though I'm liking the book so much I'm going to try to keep my expectations low. *ducks*

If you see the Chicago production, you will be very surprised. Not to take away from the NYC production, as I have only seen Chicagos sit-down. It did leave an impression on me because the entire cast worked their asses off! Not sure who is the greatest Elphaba or Glinda or Fiyero or Boq or Dillamond or whoever. I just enjoyed watching the ensemble have a blast performing. You can see utter joy in their faces...and that's all I needed to create a very enjoyable evening.

I completely forgot there was a Chicago sit-down production. It still amazes me that LA didn't do one.

I've lived in Chicago my entire life. You need to see the Chicago production. I need to see the NY production. I should be in NYC in Sept.
