The No Angels were the first girl group that was cast in a German TV show like "American Idol"...
They were really successful, contrary to the casting bands that followed after them.
I really enjoyed their music though it was plain pop!

Well, to say something nice though appropriate: there were far worse than they featured in the pop charts at the time.
The only real American Idol winner I've liked is Kelly Clarkson, although Carrie comes in a far second.
I wish Katherine would've won. I couldn't stand the hick from Alabama, or wherever.
Kelly Clarkson throws a kick ass concert too.

She has some talent though. And she probably would have had success even if she had tried it differently than by American Idol.
Didn't I read rececently that Linda Eder gained fame then by winning Star Search years ago?
Kelly Clarkson's latest album is sooooo good!
She's very, VERY talented!
I saw a bclip of her performing in Brigadoon at her high school or something and she sounded incredible!
I am VERY proud to say that Kelly Clarkson is from TEXAS!
and yes, Breakaway is VERY good. I love it. It's one of my favorites.
I'm not proud to say that the Simpson girls are from Texas.
Oh, you really shouldn't be proud about the Simpson girls!
Ashley's voice is sooo annoying!

So there we have something constructive from Texas, pardon the pun .
Well Texas seems to bring forth quite a few talented blondes. Fascinating actually.
Guy: the talent doesn't have to lie in the voice *lol*

The late, great Aaron Spelling was from Dallas and he graduated from Southern Methodist University.
The Wilson brothers are from Dallas.
That's all I can think of for now.
Ivan's done studying. We're off to bed.

How was your movie? After class I went off to meet a friend, we had dinner and then went ice skating. I was practicing some turns and spins and fell on my a** so bad... ouch! Now I'm so sour... I really don't want to have to get up and walk home...
Movie was nice! We saw "Over the Hedge", grabbed something to eat on the way to a friends house and spent the rest of the evening talking, listening to music and (this may sound boring but I hadn't done it in YEARS) playing "Monopoly"!
And don't worry, you're not alone. I'm really sore from yesterdays gym, too!

Actually it doesn't sound boring. I LOVE Monopoly.
So I just admitted to being a dork, but hey... I love it, because I NEVER lose that game....lol.

Me oh my. Have you been doing this professionally?

No...maybe I should though...hehehe.
You know those people who are really annoying because they can't lose? I'm the oposite I don't mind losing, but I get annoying when I win...lol.
Can we keep the convo in English please?
Thanks.
