I don't know why people only listen to musical theatre.
I love them, but sometimes I just gotta have my other stuff.
I listen to popular music more than showtunes, actually. Right now, "Who Cares?" by Ashley Parker Angel (formerly of O-Town) is on pause, because I'm watching Break.com.

Before that it was "If" by Destiny's Child.

Yes, he's awesome! I tried to catch one of his concerts when he was in Germany but couldn't make it...

Oh, I had seen an ad of his cd on tv a few months ago, I recall that. I'm curious whether he'll grow popular but it sounded interesting.

Well, music covers so much, there's room for anyone's taste. Which reminds me, I should perhaps switch to something non musical theatre at times to free my ears from it *lol*

I'm listening to "A Doll's Life" in the moment. Which is not so typically showtune so that should almost count *lol*

Charlie Christian was born in the town where I gradauted high school. He's one of the "earliest Jazz guitarists."
