"travel" when used as a transigent verb as in "Equity agreed to travel my trunk while on tour. Travel takes no object! "I traveled to Spain" is correct. "I traveled my sister to Spain" is incorrect.
"impact" when used as a verb. It's a noun. Something has a great impact -- but it's incorrect to say "something impacted me greatly."
And for the last time, the word is spelled DEFINITELY, not DEFINATELY. Got it???????

Golf. It's "I played golf this afternoon", not "I golfed this afternoon". It's like the word football. You don't say "I footballed this afternoon." Do you? NO...
sorry...just a rant.
and I don't like to word cock. it's dirty.

COMEDIC. Whatever happened to the word "comic" or its other form, "comical"? Now EVERYTHING is "comedic".
don't get me started on "amazing" and "awesome"

I recently noticed the use of the word "grow" as in "We have to grow the economy" or "I want to grow my business".
I'm sorry, but all I grow is my hair, flowers and vegetables. It should be "We have to encourage the economy to grow" or "I'll do what I can to help my business grow".
