I am not sure if he could come out right now. Ashame he can't but his stage shows always have a religious message. I am sure a lot of church going people attend them. Although, I don't think his movie going fans would mind or be surprised. The balck community is kind of split that way. There are those of us who would not pay a dime to see his stage shows but enjoy his movies.

I wish he could come out. He does have a huge Christian following, though. There are church groups that attend his plays.

I think it would definitely makes his plays suffer, but his movies would be fine. I know he really loves doing the plays though...

Everyone's comments are spot on. It would effect his career because he associates with a religious community that fundamentally doesn't accept homosexuality. If he is gay, which I get that feeling, he would come out in a memoir

If his plays are the future of theatre, then we're doomed. He's an untalented hack.

I've seen one of his movies and one of his filmed plays and they were both awful. Dreadful. Watching them was torture.

Hell, Kenny Chesney did an interview with People. He said his grueling touring schedule led to the divorce from Renee Z. It had nothing to do with his love of penis.
