It seems like every high school since EVER has done "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown." My school did it last year and I was in the chorus/Lucy's understudy. So who here has been in a high school production of YAGMCB, and what part did you play?

My theatre director considered it for our first year (we're just ending our second year of existance) but she decided the small cast made it a bad choice for starting a theatre department.

our rich "sister school" (exact same layout...but better. they have everything!) did it this year and their lucy got nominated best actress at the tommy tunes.

I would totally play lucy. <3

...and anthony rapp played charlie brown so i love this show...

We did it last year as a senior thespian show. It was great. As a junior, I was the assistant director and the only junior involved with the show. We only got to rehearse for about 2-3 weeks, but it turned out really well.

Got the chance to direct it earlier this year through my school. It was part of a festival with 13 other student-directed plays. Mine was the only musical. It was quite the experience, especially considering I had to make some cuts due to time limit, but the show is VERY fun.

My school didn't do musicals ... their biggest and supposedly the best production ... and most well-known show was Our Town ... how sad

For the spring choir concert at my school, my period is doing a Charlie Brown medley. I get to play Lucy!

I didn't do it at my high school, but I was in the show last year as Charlie Brown (see avatar). It was one of my favorite shows that I've ever been involved with. Great cast, great production.
