YAY CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Canada just won the WORLD CUP for OUR sport....

HOCKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

being a music theatre gal, and a Canadian, the single only sport I'm into is Hockey. I'm so proud of our boys. I was at a rehearsal all night but we kept recieveing calls with the updated score. When I drove home (downtown in my city, near the student ghetto), the students had literally blocked off the road in celebration, horns honking, flags waving. I walked out to the bar proudly wrapped in my Canadian flag, and downed a Keith's in celebration!

My dear Canadian friend Justin is freaking out that y'all are undefeated.
Personally, I couldn't care less about hockey.
But bring on the hot Degrassi boys.

(P.S. Justin has hot hockey hair.)
(P.P.S. I have a buddy icon that says "If I went to Degrassi, I would be such a slut")
(P.P.P.S. If all Canadian guys are as hot as Justin and the Degrassi guys, I'm moving there ASAP, and the 'slut' comment probably isn't much of an exaggeration.)

hmm...
I am totally legal there...
And I wouldn't have to suffer the results of the upcoming election...
If I move to Ontario I could still visit my midwestern family on holidays...
And I could spell things the British way...

I think the only thing holding me back is the health care system.
Other than that, the country is paradise.

I was walking down Yonge St. in Toronto last night after an evening of Hairspray, and the crowds were going wild!

But really, was there any doubt we were gonna win what used to be called "The Canadian Cup"?

well, i would, but i actually prefer vancouver to toronto--p*t is ALOT easier to get....lol...and i doubt they're all that excited to use non-equity american actors...i may just move to france and go to le cordon bleu...anybody got an extra $50,00?

Flowery, I think you'd LOVE it here!
The Canadian theatre industry is great here too. Everyone knows everyone, there's a huge sense of community coast to coast.

And yes Boobs, it is the sport with the bagel. We also play it in igloos. It really is quite a hoot, you should give it a shot sometime!

Note....they're not LEGALIZING pot, they're DECRIMIALIZING it. Apparently there is a difference. It's still illegal, but it would be about the same penalty as a parking ticket if you're caught with a small amount- no criminal record, in other words.
