Those kids don't have a clue what they are saying. They learned that song by rote from their parents but they will forever associate those hateful words they sang with "good" because they received positive reinforcement from the grown ups in their congregation.

Well, thanks to the internet no matter how this kid turns out this video will follow him around for the rest of his life. Imagine if someone made their kid back in the 60's sing a hateful song about African Americans. How would that kid feel today? Thanks Mom and Dad!

(As someone who has studied The Bible and was taught that Homosexuality was a sin).

Did you know that the word Homosexual did not appear in the bible until the 40's?

And that the word in the New Testament (used in Corinthians and Timothy) is translated to mean "male bed" which many theologians think means a male who molested a younger male, NOT a loving same sex relationship.

Also, it just shows how effing stupid some Christians are when they bring up Leviticus because it also says not to wear two types of fabric on? your body or cut your hair.

And Sodom and Gomorra is about humiliation GANG RAPE...not homosexuality. I mean, Lott offered his virgin daughters to be rapped by the crowd.. and he is the HERO of this story.

I am a Christian who thinks, Biblically, that Homosexuality is not a sin.

I think, given her apparent outrage over the pastor's words, what Banfield meant was that homosexuality is between two consenting adults, while pedophilia is not and incest most often is not. But she does come off looking foolish.
