Congrats Jaystarr!
I cant' wait for your review.
Oh? Do I have report concerts too?
Okay for you glebb!
Yeah...Why not? My debut 10/10 Report here on Off-Topic Board, besides its easy to take photos on Mother's concert than a Broadway show..I mean not inside.. besides I am wayyy too far from the stage. So stay tune for my "debut" cross-over to the OT board for My 10/10 Report on Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour Boston this October..complete with photos of Bank North Garden, merchandise photos, concert photos (from absolutemadonna.com)- I am too far to take photos! lol! -some hotties from audience photos and those fans that will dress like Madonna!
Actually last time I saw her here during her Confession Boston, everyone was snapping their cameras, phones during the entire show! lol! They were not really strict with it! I was shocked!!
Yeah~ I will provide a VERY detailed descriptions of the concert, songs performed, staging...etc....Sounds Fun! I also took some time off from work~ I told work- Its Madonna's National Holiday (per songanddanceman's advise for my alibi)

TD BankNorth Garden
(formerly called "The Fleet Center")
home of Boston Celtics & Boston Bruins
Trivia: In 2004- Madonna had her "Reinvention Tour" in Worcester, MA bec. the
Fleet Center (BankNorth Garden now) was not available then..bec. it hosted the 2004 Democratic Party Convention. She always go for TD BankNorth Garden.. I guess she was happy to be bumped to Worcester- of all place!
which is 47 miles, though when she sang, "Express Yourself" she yelled...Hello! Boston, Massachusetts!

Cant wait to see Mother's big poster gracing BankNorth:

Congratulations Jay! I was also able to score a $165 ticket this morning. I just couldn't justify spending $350.
Which Madonna tours have you gone to? I saw The Virgin Tour, the Blond Ambition Tour (twice) and the Reinvention Tour (twice) all at The Worcester Centrum. I also saw the Drowned World Tour and Confessions Tour at the FleetCenter.
I had bought tickets for the Reinvention Tour for the first night at the Worcester Centrum and ended up winning tickets in the dance pit on Kiss 108 fm for the second night of the Reinvention Tour at the Worcester Centrum. I brought my sister with me and she still comments how close we were to Madonna and the fact that she almost kicked me in the face during "Don't Tell Me". Madonna saw the frightened look on my face as her foot came towards me and she smiled and winked at me. One of my best concert experiences ever.

Yeah so glad you got tickets wooh wooh, and using the National Madonna day as an excuse for the day off is brilliant (im glad i could help) lol
I will post a review on here after i watch it on the 11th sept at Wembley Stadium in London
Looking forward to reading your review songanddanceman2!
I'm out of town when Madge is playing LA. I have to say I have mixed feelings about missing her.
I've only seen her live once for the Drowned World Tour. It was gravely disappointing. During some numbers she was wearing a kilt, she'd just learned the guitar so she thought it would be entertaining to us if she stood there and played a couple of simple riffs during numbers, she got her 'Eastern mysticism' bull**** out of her system with crouching tiger hidden dragon dancers. It was awful. The music just did not gel with the visual presentation.
I have to say, I saw a little of her Confessions tour on TV last year and was happy to find her stage show greatly improved. I thought the show's stagings of 'Hung Up', 'Erotica' and 'Jump' were absolutely stunning. Also, the band sounds terrific. Any idea who her music director is/was?

People have mixed feelings about the Drowned world tour, some thinking it was to dark.I personally were very impressed with it, it was nice to leave camp at the door for a change.I think a lot of the Huge Madonna fans who had followed her from the beginning like myself were bowled over at the Drowned World tour
She rocked out and the choreography and wire work was outstanding
songanddanceman2, I don't have a problem with darkness. I just hate ridiculous pretension and over the top visuals which have absolutely no connection to the music.
The more I watch the Confessions tour on YouTube, the more I'm disappointed that I missed this outing. One thing I love about it is actually the MINIMALIST set design. I suppose calling a set in which the mirror ball itself cost more than 2 Million Dollars minimalist is probably a bit cheeky. But, you know what I mean, the clean, sharp lines, the runway look just meshes perfectly with the sleek Euro-disco-funk sound that her fantastic band was producing.
there were certainly aspects of drowned world that were phenominal, but reinvention and confessions got back to more fun. And how could anything named sticky and sweet be dull?
The Drowned World tour was my least favorite of all Madonna's tours. As much as I did enjoy her Confessions tour, I think her Reinvention tour was much better. I'm remaining optimistic that the Sticky and Sweet tour will be great.
Going Saturday, October 11 with my guy. I just bought the $100 tickets as I know those seats are just fine.
One day when I'm rich I'll be able to plop down thousands to be near the stage.
I just hope that's sooner than The Gum Job Tour sponsored by Depends.
Everytime she tours, it gets more expensive. Top price is the same, it just has extended to outer sections. For the CT, I paid $165. This tour, the same seat is $350. Crazy, and annoying. She does always put on a good show, but I too have mixed feelings because Hard Candy has been a sort of let down on the whole.
Congratulations on getting tickets jerby. I agree with you about the tickets being too expensive Jake. As much as I love Madonna, I can not justify spending $350 a ticket especially in this economy. Even though my ticket is not in the top price range, it will be great just to be there and see Madonna again.
I just hope Mother will start her concert at 9 pm sharp or whatever she is supposed to start.. Her Confession Boston (1st night) started at 10:15 pm and they turned-off all the aircondition.
I basically lost my voice bec. I was yelling from 9 pm till the time she appeared...Madonna! Madonna! We Love you!!! and took her awhile to come out...
I still remember when her face appeared (video) in the big screen (for FUTURE LOVERS number) she said... I am gonna tell you!!! and everyone was yelling!!
You guys know that I am not big in seeing Broadway shows at night bec. past my bedtime..but I make exeptions, besides her concert is usually only 90 mins long.
Oh...I was soo upset at her for making me wait 1 hour & 15 mins.
Though- After she appeared at the big crystal ball..I was not upset at her anymore.. I forgave her for making me wait 1 hour and 15 minutes...
