Beatles (don't make me choose - they all count!)

mom - a few posts ago you mentioned Carmina Burana. In 1999 my singing group opened the MTV VMAs at the Metropolitan Opera with a version of that - Carmina Burana morphed into Kid Rock's Ba-Wit-Da-Ba which morphed into Chris Rock's introduction... It was one WEIRD version of Carmina Burana!! We performed the 'normal' version in Carnegie Hall last year...redemmed ourselves! LOL

Boobs...another reason I love you -- Nancy was a such a loss -- at least her estate has settled and her recordings are available again!

Thank God for that KMF...her Christmas album is the BEST.

I went through 2 copies of 'Sunday in the Park with George' - I loved "Finishing the Hat" so I used to listen to it over and over again. But the one recording that's had the most playing time is probably "Abbey Road". It was first given to me on my 8th birthday, and twenty-something years later, still my favorite Beatles record re: Yet another cd thread.

you got that right Boobs -- I'll put Just In Time into the CD player right around Thanksgiving and there it stays through New Year (with an occassional mid-year visit too) -- there is ALWAYS at least one Nancy CD in my 5-disc player and on my IPOD playlist
