I bought one last year from Amazon, but it had a horrible chemical smell. It was some kind of rubber product.
Recommendations on a lightweight, roll-up and carry mat that you have actually been happy with? Does the thickness matter? If so, I'm looking for one that is thicker for more lumbar support.
(I've done searches, but am not sure what to buy and don't want to waste money again.)

Tinymagic, I buy my mats from Gaiam. They dont stink-usually cheaply made mats smell, like the ones you can buy at Walmart or Kmart.
Target sells a great selection of Gaiam mats, or they used to. Check out Target. I recommend buying a mat in person and not online so you can smell it and check the thicknesses. Also, when you buy at a store, they often come with a DVD or a strap.

I don't remember the brand name, but i bought mine for 15 bucks at Target, and I use it 4-5 times a week and it is holding up well, and no smells!
It's a cute hot pink too.
