Young Adult Male Characters

Hi, I'm a dancer transitioning into musical theater. I'm looking for suggestions for characters who are usually male and in their early 20s, from any musical, traditional and contemp. I'm sure the list must be extensive, but as someone with limited knowledge of musicals, I'm just looking for some places to start searching for audition songs. Characters who are sweet, lovable, guy-next-door types are probably best suited to me. Thanks!

First we'd need to know if you're a tenor or a baritone. If you're a tenor, Tony from West Side Story is a good starting point. As for baritone.... I have no earthly idea.

Pretty much the entire male company of Rent.
Any of the students in Les Miserables.

Bobby Strong from Urinetown. Also Tarzan from Tarzan the Broadway Musical and the Princes from Into theh Woods, to an extent...they arent really the good-hearted, nice characters. Antony from Sweeney Todd and Raoul from Phantom of the Opera. Marius from Les Miserables. Lorie from Little Women.
