I was a Twin Peaks junkie. Unfortunately it only lasted two seasons. It even got a little too "out there" for me towards the end of the second season but that show produced some of my favorite characters and moments on TV ever. I recently bought the first season on DVD. It was great to see it again.

In a word: Bette
one of the funnest television shows I have ever seen.
Geena Davis' show and kristin (starring kristin Chenoweth) both had potential; unfortunatey they didn't find their right audience.
I did like the show "Popular" lol But it got a little too predictbale after a while.

I watched "Greetings From Tucson" on WB last year. I quite liked it. I think that was their first season and then they were canceled, unfortunately.
Can't think of anymore right now...

BETTE! OMG! I loveeeeeeeeed that show! The best episode was when she was at the piano singing a song from Kid Rock and she turned it into a rendition of 40's style. AWESOME!
Bill Finn rocks. Woot.

"Sledge Hammer" without a doubt. After a week of teaching Chaucer and Shakepeare to teenagers, it was such a great release to watch this show on Friday nights. I realize it was a silly show, but sometimes we need silliness. Besides, David Rasche was a real treat for the eyes!

I know it was bad, but I just loved it--I hope they put it on DVD to go with the miniseries that is.
I also liked Bette--I loved how she made fun of herself and of being a star.

The Magician I didn't think anyone remembered that one except for me. I loved Bill Bixby. He had one of those neat voices. I remember that as the Magician, he only drank white wine and his car/plane were named "Spirit".
I remember seeing the headline that he was ill on one of the rags in the checkout lane at the store and thinking, "It won't be long and he'll be gone." Sure enough, it wasn't very long after that, he was.
Does anyone remember the name of the reporter in the "Hulk" series? I remember the line, "Don't make me angry, Mr. BLANK. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." Strange I remember that but the name escapes me.

Roxy, they made 120 episodes of Batman. Nowadways they syndicate at 80 episodes. 120 is hardly short lived.
I loved the Bette episode where they flashed back to how she met Connie and Roy. It was perfect. A veritable scrapbook of Bette hairdos. Studio 54. The airline flight where Bette was in the front of the plane and Joanna Gleason was in the back and Bette was yammering to the passenger next to her. And she kept yelling back to Joanna for clarification.
"Diana Ross is mean. CONNIE! ISN'T DIANA ROSS MEAN? Oh yes, 'Ghandi' was fabulous. But it's long. CONNIE! WASN'T GANDHI LONG?"

THE JUDY GARLAND SHOW. I mean...I was born in 1969...and the show only ran for one season ('63-'64) for 26 episodes...so, I never saw the original "airings" (obviously.) If anybody wants to buy me the DVD collection for Christmas, I have included the link below. Thanks.http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00000K4YX/102-4324211-7994521?v=glance

That's Life with Ellen Burstyn and Paul Sorvino. That was a great show and CBS dropped it during the second season. My Saturday nights have never been the same!

GIMME, GIMME, GIMME
On BBC America.
Gay actor shares flat with man-hungry sophtic female in a house owned by their live-in landlady, a over 60yo dominatrix, and with an interracial heterosexual married couple as their neighbors who are always ready to jump into bed.
It was hysterical, but BBC America is pretending they never showed it here. Do you think it was perceived as non-PC?
Go figure~!

Okay. I really enjoyed the Fox show Skin. It was cut after like 3 episodes. I liked it. It reminded me a lot of one of my favorite movies- Baz's Romeo and Juliet. I mean it was based lightly off of Romeo and Juliet, I liked how the set it up. I was really mad when they axed this!

"That's My Bush!" because it was one of the most daring things ever shown on American television, even if it was just basic cable. And the funniest. To be "pc" (as the right wingers like to say) UNDER a right wing regime, you can't show stuff like that. Ergo, they didn't renew it.
