Youtube Help
Youtube Help#1
Posted: 6/12/07 at 11:41amI'm trying to get some of my stuff up onto YouTube but, unfortunately, simply uploading them onto the site isn't working because they're too big. I think I perhaps need to compress these videos, but I'm not sure how to doeth that.

Posted: 6/12/07 at 11:43amThey could be too long. If you're a normal user, not a director, then you have to do things maximum 10 mins length, methinks.
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

I use a three step process. I take the DVD source and convert it into a computer audio/video file, next I use something called flaskmpeg and then I shrink that file with Windows Media Encoder 9.
Steps:
1. DVD Shrink
2. flaskMpeg
3. Windows Media Encoder 9
