almost all of the media covering this has been irresponsible - the blog based outlets have been hands down the worst but even some of the network majors have screwed up
hopefully we are now past that point
MSNBC carried a conference with Zimmerman's defense attorney (didn't catch his name but he's experienced in murder and high profile cases and a former prosecutor) - he's much more in the tone of the no-nonsense prosecutor and not like Zimmerman's previous clowns

The article about Fox says the site has already changed the photo, so I don't really see the problem.

They hadn't changed the photo when I posted it. Still, it just shows how unfair and unbalanced Fox News. I'm sure Sean Hanity will defend the victim as he see's it,George Zimmerman tonight. For Fox to alter the picture in the first place is below any journalism standards there is.

Oh, please. Almost all the outlets have been guilty of manipulation, especially in word choices, phrasings, and photo selections.

I actually know Angela Corey. This is her biggest stage yet. She is a shark with impeccable manners and an excellent public speaker. This should be interesting.

Its what Fox News Does and they are proud of it. It's what their viewers want.
I don't recall CNN or ABC photoshopping an image of someone they dislike in order to sell their agenda. I could be wrong and if you can give me an example where another network has done what Fox has done with the image of Trayvon Martin then I'd like to know.

Well, MSNBC did air a cut of the 911 call that featured Zimmerman saying, "He looks black," but without the context of the 911 operator asking him "whether he looks white, Hispanic, or black".
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."

It was NBC that aired the edited 9-1-1 call - during the TODAY show, no less. ABC News aired the police station video and asserted there was no apparent injury, then backtracked a day or two later.

Some people think that maybe Ms. Corey has more information than the rest of us.
I was surprised by the 2nd degree murder charge, but doubt it would have been filed (as opposed to manslaughter) without some evidence or justification.
But, like I said - I just want a fair hearing of all of the evidence and then a jury to decide.

Zimmerman's photo takes up almost the whole front page of today's NEWSDAY. As it was staring up at me from the coffee table I realized something: he's vision impaired! There's a slight cast to one of his eyes. That means he's not focusing properly.
I wonder how this will play out in court--if at all.
(After losing my eyesight completely and undergoing a series of eye surgeries, I know a little about impaired vision)

During his court appearance today I noticed he was blinking a lot and rolling his eyes as if he were having some eye trouble. I wonder if this will play into his defense. Of course, it can also play to the prosecutions benefit as well.

Zimmerman was interviewed on FUX by Hannity tonite? Channel surfed MSMBC and they were discussing....
Having not seen it, I still wonder what idiot celeb lawyer puts his super hi profile client on THIS show? Every word on that show can be used against him in court. Lawyers - so freaking stoopid..

I don't understand that story about the picture and Fox news. I can't speak for the picture they posted, but the one with the arrow, called "the original" has clearly been photoshopped.
