all-time favorite Tear-Jerkers

these are a few of my go-to movies when I'm in need of a good cry (in no particular order):

-Terms of Endearment
-Bridges of Madison County
-Humoresque
-My Life
-Stella Dallas
-Marvin's Room
-Million Dollar Baby
-Come Back, Little Sheba
-Out of Africa
-Midnight Cowboy
-Sophie's Choice (though I choose never to watch this one again
because I was destroyed for over a week)

how 'bout you guys?

I'll never watch Longtime Companion again. The ending simply destroys me.

Terms od Endearment is the only film I have ever seen at Mann's Chinese in Hollywood.

The Way we Were always gets me, so does Yentl (don't ask) and Mysterious Skin is a newer one that made me feel like an ass in public.

OMG! How could I forget Schindler's list? But I sobbed at that - not just shed a tear.

Tell me about it. (You are talking about Schindler's List, right?) I sometimes make myself watch it because I feel it's incredibly important.

Oh and I saw Munich a few weeks ago and that made me cry several times. What an amazing film...

I remember being a wreck in the cinema after 'Dead Poets' Society'. 'Sophie's Choice' is heartbreaking.

Moulin Rouge (seen it 20+ times and still cry like a baby every time)

But the movie that made me cry more than any other is Life is Beautiful. 15 minutes after the credits were done I was sitting on my couch clutching a box of Kleenex and sobbing like there was no tomorrow. I was a total wreck.

re: all-time favorite Tear-Jerkers

Life is Beautiful kills me.

I also cry every time I watch Beauty and the Beast, but I think that's a retarded thing that only I do.

Stepmom is pretty sad, and The Family Stone had me sobbing.
