Before the mid-90s, IM and Undergear were practically Playgirl, but with better models. Then, they suddenly cleaned up their photos to be less "provocative" and became just another catalogue, but with goofy gay clubwear that even Carson wouldn't be seen in. There was a gorgeous sandy blonde model from the 90s that was one of my favorites. I saw him in person as a bouncer in a Chicago gay bar years ago, but I haven't seen him in 4 years.

the thing i find hilarious about international male and the undergear catalogue is that some of the pictures in there of the models and merchandise have been used since the mid-80s when i first discovered this literature!!

sorry, robbo, i can't post the link for fear that it may be considered a link to pornography. but if you use your imagination, you may be able to come up with the URL for undergear. i don't know if the model who's on the current cover is on the website or not, but he's very fine yes, the photos do tend to be used over and over again, but this coverboy is brand new bathing beauty with a buzz cut, a smoldering face, and an tantalizing body.

btw ... i love your use of the term "literature"
