hey i did something tonight! i played capture the flag hick-style in the middle of a huge field with tons of people. it was fun till it got confusing and then a few friends and i sat down and argued about the stars. it was ga-reat.

I'm home taking care of my dog. We had to take her to the animal hospital today because she hurt her leg last night chasing a squirrel. It turns out that she tore the ligament off the bone (on her "good" leg...this happened last year to her other leg and it never really healed properly) and needs surgery. She's a very hyper dog, so we are giving her tranquilizers and taking turns sitting with her so she doesn't fall off the couch in a daze.

I know that as dogs get older, they fall apart, but she's so much a part of this family. She's almost 11, but she has the personality of a puppy. I love her so much.

At one of the concerts I went to this summer, Idina introduced "Defying Gravity" with the whole "I fell through the hole" bit. So she said that she made it out and had some closure, someone yelled she looked great, and she went on about how she was real high.

It was divine.
