at what point does bumping your own thread cease to be an attempt to get attention and become a desperate cry fot help?

or a desperate cry for a spell check?
fot help?
:)
I would say it depends on whether the person doing the auto-thread bump annoys you, or whether you like them.
Right, papa?
my dyslexia grows worse by the yad.
Aren't all posts, in any thread, really just a cry for help?
i've told you before, johnboy, never on monday.

It doesn't really matter what the motivation is, at one point last night, somebody bumped his own thread seven times in less than an hour without anybody else contributing to it, by then it became simply a Broadwayworld Quality of Life issue.
If a person is reduced to cutting and pasting the same thing into four separate threads nearly simultaneously just to goose them up (as also happened yesterday), it's the message board equivalent of a ventilator keeping somebody in a vegetative state alive artficially.
Perhaps Dr. Bill Frist could diagnose from a distance such a thing as being alive and healthy, but it sure doesn't look that way up close.
you just keep a respectful tone when you talk about bill frist: gorilla doctor!
Just yesterday? He's doing it right now.
God bless the children of Ohio. Actually, strike that as he clearly has decided not to.
It's only ok when the thread you are bumping is for your over-emoted cabaret.
How about jacking your own thread?

I have had to jack and bump my own thread lately,.
Just the part of the termoil of family life.
i bet if we all decided to bump our own threads that it would be quite a sight.
I'll bump with you papa..just gonna warn you though..I was the bumping King at my HS. I bruised many with my bumps.
We could be like Critical Mass and do a huge group bump...
let's go lil...doing the BUMP !!!
Can we please keep the name Bill Frist OFF of BWW? I like some things to remain sacred.
Speaking of thread-jacking; does my avatar look like The Salem Witch Trials, or Fiddler on the Roof?
I think my boss just did a bump in the bathroom...she's certainly acting like it. (I mean, she could TRY to be less obvious about the sniffling, really!)
