does anyone have any good cures?
i've tryed mouthwash and i've tryed rinsing with warm salty water.
i've had this damn canker sore for a week now and it keeps getting more painful.

I've experienced my whole life so far.
There's some over the counter medication you can use for them. It' works. I think its called Canka!
Otherwise you just have to wait a week or so for it to heal.

Yea, I get canker sores whenever I have a cold- and I have a bad cold now.
I have 2 canker sores- 1 on the edge of my tongue and one in my cheek.
However, Kanka does help.
The dentist (MY DAD!) recommends it.

Poor Baby - - - they are very painful, try something called " VINCE " it is a
mouth-wash, it is very soothing. You mix it with water and rinse with it.

Posted: 8/9/07 at 9:18amYou can also put Alum on it (from the spice isle in your grocery store.) It is a drying agent (necessary for healing) that is also a mild natural anaesthetic.

The best cure I've found is:
Get a Q-tip
Soak it in Listerine
Apply the Listerine to the cancer sore a few times a day.
It will burn like the devil at first, but it heal very quickly.
