chipped tooth

So, I chipped a tooth on Christmas day (the best gift I received). How long can I wait before going to the dentist. I just don't see myself as having the money for a visit for a couple of months. SHould I go now and try to get on a payment plan, or can I wait a bit without incurring any dental wrath? It doesn't hurt at all.

I guess it depends on how bad it looks.

it's small and no one has noticed until I told them, and they took a look at it. Some have said they still don't see it even after I show them.

Don't worry too much unless it's making you sound like Drew Barrymore.

If it's minor, it probably won't hurt to wait a bit. But if they do offer a payment plan, why not?

Not for nothing, but sometimes a chipped tooth adds a certain charm to one's smile. Strange but true.

It won't hurt to wait........but, if they offer a payment plan, may be worth it....depends on how you feel, reeally......but dental-wise, if there is no pain or problem, waiting would be ok

If it bothers you, then fix it. But if it doesn't, then it's just stupid to waste money on it.

I have a crossbite that could only fixed through another expander, and my orthodontist said as long as it didn't bother me, then it really didn't matter.

I don't think it would be a big deal to wait.

I did this a few years ago...I'm sorry you did too re: chipped tooth! It's not a big deal to wait at all as long as there is no pain, and fixing it is easy :)..at least thats what they told me! LoL
