Posted: 10/29/05 at 2:24amI used to hire employees that had to wear uniforms, a part of which was a very deep burgundy. My advice to them was to wash them with just a capful of vinegar. It really helps to set the dye. It really only works if you do it from the very first wash.

Posted: 10/29/05 at 2:31amDo you soak the jeans (or whatever article) in vinegar and water for a while, or do you directly add the vinegar into the load along with the detergent, and pop it all into the machine?
