did anyone see Andrew Lloyd Webber on eurovision?

hello, just wondering if anyone caught lord andrew on eurovision... i thought the song was great and the girl singing it was beautiful!! maybe another chrisinte in the making!!

also i was listneing to the norway winning song and there is a bit in it that sounds a bit like phantom, from where christine visits her father's grave... sounds similar to me anyway! and both played on the violin so maybe that is what is sounding familair to me! anyway just wondered if anyone elsehad heard it...

Yes. I generally like Lloyd Webber, but that song was instantly forgettable. With the exception of maybe four or five songs, I don't think he's written anything terribly interesting since Sunset Boulevard. I know it's not cool to enjoy Lloyd Webber's music, but he was at least known for writing memorable tunes. I'm just hoping he wasn't gunning to feature it in his new musical. If so, we'll probably see it go the way of The Beautiful Game and Woman in White.

The Beautiful Game has a couple of good songs (and some real clunkers), but let's face it, the show came and went and hardly anyone noticed.

I did the workshop for BG, it was a brilliant show but was tampered with far to much.

Oh, I agree it has some clunkers (BIG ONES) but songs like "Our King of Love" and "God's Own Country" are SO beautiful
