First write me a 15-page paper on the finer points of First Amendment jurisprudence as it applies to high school students. And by the way, there's only 3 or 4 Supreme Court cases on the subject, so you get to look through all the Circuit courts in search of precedent.

I would much, much prefer to write that paper, smartass. My criminology focus has been on criminal and charter law and I was going to do my honour's thesis on charter/human rights. So if you're okay with it being based around the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, with Canadian case law, I'm totally down with that. (I even have access to the Lexis-Nexis database which I'm willing to pore through, just for you.)

I have Lexis. And unfortunately, the class is called American Constitutional Law. Product of being in America and all that. What I'd really like you to do, of course, is explain Justice Scalia's views on the doctrine of standing and actually make sense. That would be a minor miracle.

And please don't mention honor's theses. Give me my 2 years of relatively terror-free living. *wibble*
