Freetranslation.com is good if you want to translate one word.
But my teacher hates online translators because sometimes they can give you some crazy, incorrect stuff.

ashbash, first thing you need when you learn a language is a dictionary
Interestingly enough, in todays Riverside, CA newspaper was a lengthy article about the difference in the Spanish language depending on what Spanish-speaking country you are in. It was a very fascinating article!
