papa, I'm happy to hear this. While you and JAG were ignoring him all his threads sank to the bottom of the page. The only time they were bumped was when he was talking to himself.
Yesterday I logged on and and saw HD all over the place! I knew he was getting responses again.
And, like any virus, it spreads. Suddenly all the threads had his ignorance in them. Even threads that had nothing to do with politics were turned into troll playgrounds.

Okay, I'll admit it. I too have been sucked in by the troll. But, sometimes it's just fun to see him wallow in his own stupidity.
I can't promise that from this point forward that I will always ignore him, but I will do my best.

Listen, that sucky writer came into my Highlights thread and totally dragged it down with his BS. Most of the time I'm not motivated to respond to him, but face it, SOMEBODY has to tell him he sucks as a writer. I mean, he obviously thinks that self-publishing is a reflection of some sort of talent.
But you're in the business too, PJ. Don't you feel an ethical obligation to inform a wannabe that he lacks aptitude and talent?

Or cares? -- I would be happy to concur pro bono on the missing aptitude and talent in said subject. Two independent sources mean confirmation, after all.

Exactly, Calvin. Did you know that Jack Wrangler once starred in a straight porno called "Jack & Jill"? It was good.
And look everybody, I have never once and never will announce that I shall never respond to ChantiD. I go for weeks and weeks not feeling motivated enough to respond to his drivel, and then when I feel like pointing out how sucky he is, he posts that I have broken my vow to ignore him. A vow I have never made, nor will I make.
I reserve my right to tell him he blows whenever I want.
As for the stalking thing, I never ever called anybody, but the HD collective has it in their imagination that I did and "they" have run with it ever since. That's fine. Bad writing, bad info, it's all the same for that crew.
