Ah Papa. WE Democrats learn- the hard way, but we learn none the less. You'll see a lot of stories this fall about how people all over the world loathe and despise Barack Obama. Remember how we screwed up last time?

"When the left-leaning British newspaper The Guardian launched a campaign last month to allow its readers to correspond with working-class swing voters in Ohio, it hoped to start a friendly dialogue between foreigners interested in the 2004 presidential campaign and U.S. voters who would decide its outcome.
"It fired up our side, not just in Clark County, but across the state," said Jason Mauk, spokesman for the Ohio Republican Party. "We got hundreds of calls from people reporting this to us and asking what they could do. We even heard from wavering American Democrats abroad who told us this helped them make a decision to vote for Bush."

"European officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, "

What the hell is this? Journalism? This is actually NOT the thinking in most of Europeans on Iran and Obama is VERY popular among them. Though I can see this coming out of France. This is preposterous.

yeah, those anonymous sources can be tough, huh? good luck fighting them after having depended on them for so long. and where are your sources btw for your allegations that his iran position is popular in europe? just something you kinda think? and which voice in your head is the lead propoent of that? maybe it's time for you to invent a european sock puppet with imaginary connections to the eu so you can lie about something else for a while, pudg-o.

"me and the notoriously right-wing washington post. "

You are and it is. The WP totally back and endorsed the war in Iraq. Where is their coverage of feelings on McCain?

"those anonymous sources can be tough, huh?"

Yea, if anyone it's France. It's the last paper that should be using anonymous sources.

"and where are your sources btw for your allegations that his iran position is popular in europe?"

There are hundreds. Do a News search for European sanctions on Iran. Europeans do not want another Iraq. They also don't have our short attention spans and have actual news informing them of the reality of the situation. They want diplomacy not bloodshed.

Europeans actually paid attention when North Korea tested weapons while Bush sat idly by and made a song and dance about Iraq.

European leaders should be afraid of any American leader because we have done very little good in a decade. If you think Obama scares them, ask 'em how they feel about McCain!

typical fenchurch bs. an article from over a year ago that has nothing to do with bammy.

no on-record european leaders specifically supporting bammy's iran policy?

didn't think so.

your opinion of the post says much more about you than it does about them, josh.

"no on-record european leaders specifically supporting bammy's iran policy?"

What on-record European leader supports McCain? TELL ME? Outside of France (which desperately wants to bomb Iran) I think all foreign leaders are out of our election save Israel.

Europeans overwhelmingly love Barack Hussein Obama, now whether that's love out of hate for George Bush I do not know. Europe is LESS safe because of GWB.

This article wants to tell us what tough guys the Europeans are with Iran, but concedes they have diplomatic relations with Iran. It is exactly what Barack is saying. Spinning this to provoke talking points is typical of the WP. Any mention of McCain or how the failed Bush policy is holding there? Hardly.

Why care now? The US was not concerned with Europe when we invaded Iraq. That article may be from a year ago but it illustrates my point and is STILL relevant. Europeans feel the same way today, nothing has changed and Iran is not big on their radar. Europeans do not want another war and they want diplomacy. This idea that strong arming Iran like Bush did Iraq is senseless. First you accuse them of having WMD then when they say they don't you say "you're lying" and then attack.

Papa you can call me all kinds of names and bring "Josh" into this but fact is you are wrong. You were wrong about Iraq, you were wrong about Huckabee and you wrong about McCain.

Papa, you clearly know nothing about Europe.

In Europe, we are extremely Pro-Obama. The only thing that Europe has liked about GWB is that he's run America into the ground. And in general, it's easier for us in the EU to be likeable when everyone's too busy hating you. However, the EU is in dire straits just like the US, and even most of the right-wing parties in Europe are Pro-Obama.

Get a clue.

just like everyone here is pro-bammy, linnie. surprisingly they don't comprise the entire us. just as your friends are not the leaders of europe interviewed for this article. how many of your friends are in positions of power? mps? ok.

and who gave you the power to speak for an entire continent? do i now have the power to speak for all of america? if so, i'll declare that americans hate egomaniacal twits almost as much as we hate condescending pollyannas. that you don't know this about america clearly makes you very foolish.

You assume that I am basing my statements only on speaking to my friends. That's because you don't like to give any credibility to people who do not agree with you. (And if you read my post properly, you'd question your own response. I don't have many entire right-wing parties as personal friends). Unlike you, I live in Europe. I know the sentiment. Europe is sick and tired of GWB, and can't wait for an Obama Presidency. Of course, there are many people in Europe who do like GWB. Just like there are many people in Europe who like locking their daughters up in basements and raping them.

And thankfully, I'm aware that America isn't entirely comprised of people like you. If it were then the international perception that Americans are idiots might actually be true.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

How old are you, seriously? You write like a two year old and you act like one too. You can rave like a lunatic all you want, and call me whatever you like.

Go look up contradict in the dictionary and then tell me where I contradicted myself.

Back on the point of the discussion (which was neither about our mental ability nor our avatars, however tall and pointless they may be), do you know anything about European Mindsets? No? Didn't think so.

The link below may give Papa some credibility. The Prime Minister of Italy wants McCain to be elected. Of course, his reasoning is that he'll no longer be the oldest in the room when the leaders get together.

Papa, that is possibly the most incoherent piece of crap you could possibly have posted. Apart from your sweeping generalizations (which we can all make when we're on the point, which you're not), I am not talking about my friends, drunk people I find on the street, or monkeys. They may be the only support you can find for your causes, but not me. And who are these euuropean leaders you speak of?

I love how you cannot handle being questioned, so you spend your time insulting someone half your age if not less, who can talk rings around you. How mature. You must be so proud.

try reading the article, linnie, i know it's tough with that limited education you've got, but it's not me making the accusation, it's the washington post - granted in the minds of some here it's a noted hotbed of neocon thought that regularly posts fiction described as news.

oh, wait, it's a typo you're going after? a typo? an extra "u". wow, that's the height of intellectual discourse there, brainiac. perhaps next you can take me to task for my disuse of capital letters.

how enthralled you are with your own limited talents. must be those european lowered expectations that allow for such an ego to be attributed to one with such meager abilities.
