In Polish bakeries, they make a special donut in the days leading up to Ash Wednesday: A Packzi (Pronounced POONCH-key) which is like a jelly donut filled with preserves or custard. They are loaded with sugar and deep fried and are supposed to help you get through the hardships of lent. They are so good that I've seen people cry when they eat them.
I can't wait till next spring!

My favorites were the ones MCJudas used in his infamous pole dances.

theres always the Krispy Kreme glazed, best when fresh and piping hot from the store. then I love the chocolate frosted donut, and the three packs plain, powered sugar and cinnamon. those are my favourite donuts
need to defrag my brain.

I LOVE donuts. They are like a confort food. Especially those little munchkins 
I remember in elementry school whenever it was someone's birthday the mommy always brought in munchkins....hehe.
But, I think it was almost 2 years ago. I was at the airport and I was dying of hunger and there was a kripy cream donut shoppe so I went and got myself a glazed donut. I tell you people...I spit it out right away and through the rest of the donut out!!! talk about PURE sugar! I love sugar and sweet things but, it was DISCUSTING! And recently, I was studying with someone and we stopped at Krispy Creme and I didn't want to get one but she got one for me anyway so I felt bad and couln't refuse to eat it. Again the same thing happened when I took the first bite.

Patisserie Valerie's custard doughnut. The next time anyone on this board finds themselves in London (if they're not here already), they MUST visit this patisserie and partake in the thickly glazed piece of heaven that is their custard doughnuts.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

oy! donuts! liam you are sooo bad bringing this up! sweets are my enemy only because i love them so much and when i give in i tend to pack on pounds. i love krispy kreme doughnuts....all of them!

Dunkin Donuts Black Raspberry filled - as long as they are fresh. They tend to go stale fast.
