Absoulutely. That and the Adam/Raul love threads got me where I am today. Without that fateful Aida thread, I would have never started the spork thing or the Adam thread. I was mostly a lurker until then, I think...
Enough about me, though. What brought you all out of lurkerdom into legend status?

Posted: 8/14/04 at 9:03pmWe'll see... This board is consumes all my time during the summer, I don't know how I'll be able to keep up with conversations once school starts. And I won't be up late to talk, either... I have to start going to bed early now just to get used to it by the time school comes around in two weeks. Bleh.
#82re: gay/straight?
Posted: 8/14/04 at 9:04pmI live here too. School doesn't start for me until Sept. 2, and even then I refuse to move out. School won't interfere with my wicked cool life.
#83re: gay/straight?
Posted: 8/14/04 at 9:05pmI have had some trouble following conversations. I couldn't keep up with the spork thread if it was still moving as fast as it once did.

Yeah, I know what you mean. This board goes insanely fast, other places take a few hours to get responses. This is almost like a chat room.
I can never jump into a conversation, I have to start it or be around at the beggining. Once it gets going I can't really follow it.

Yes, Judy Garland was beautiful and gorgeous until her later years when the years of smoking had set in on her face and her voice.
Same with Lucille Ball.
'Course, the two of them, by that time, had attained such fierce, legendary status, that it didn't matter. They worked it out.

Jailyard, we could just use Margaret Cho's mom's word and call you "The Gay."
You could have shirts and banners and buttons printed up.

"If you don't pick up the phone, that mean you gay!"
I love Margaret Cho.
